Gratitude and Humility

Here we are again, Sunday AM. If you are a member of my yoga class tribe you’ll know that the main focus this week was humility. With humility we have gratitude.

For me I feel this is a important part of my practice, especially as of late. I have been so grateful that my husband and I have remained healthy during these last few months. I have been grateful that abundance has been part of our lives. I am grateful that I get to share yoga with everyone who wants it. I’m also grateful for the opportunity to be part of a community that embraces, serves, and supports.

As quoted from the article - The Importance of   Gratitude and Humility in Recovery, by Robert Tropp “Gratitude and humility allow us to accept that there will be ups and downs in our recovery and to be grateful for the progress that we have made.”

Our recovery might not be a recovery from an addiction, but maybe it’s a recovery from these past few months. The virus has provided a mental health roller coaster ride, but it has also provided us a time for to heal, find humility and express gratitude for what we have.

I am grateful for this platform and I’m grateful for you. Spread the word...

Be Well,

LB
