Gentleness is a Superpower

As quoted from an article from Asad Meah, CEO & Founder of AwakenTheGreatnessWithin

“Gentleness is defined as the quality of being kind, tender, or mild-mannered”

Over the last several months as we’ve been battling the unknowns of the virus, from my perspective looking out on social media and television that some have misplaced this quality. It’s caused me to take a step back in many respects and develop the mindset, that I can’t really rely on others to do the right thing sometimes and that I’m better off just with my small tight knit circle that interact virtually.

How did we get here? Was it the hate fueled politics and the fear of uncertainty? I would say that’s definitely part of it. I chose (as many of my fellow yogis and friends) to see the light. Explore new perspectives of life by making decisions on our health and well-being that will not only help ourselves but help others. Educating with the truth of what is rather than playing telephone and skewing information.

I’ve been practicing gentleness. I’ve been trying within my heart to share compassion and kindness to even those people who I’m not necessarily in alignment with in hopes to make this a better place.

Venturing into the holiday season, which is usually supposed to be that time of the year to share love and gratitude, reach in and maybe offer a little more. The world we live is in desperate need of healing and I know that our gentleness can carry a long way.
