Forgive

What did you learn this week? I’m going to share what I learned and maybe you’re on the same path.

A thought popped into my mind recently that brought back some memories of my teacher training from a few years ago. Yoga found me as a way to offer healing. Not only physical healing but emotional. It came out and showed me that forgiveness is really the way to get to peace.

I had to first forgive myself. It really made me sit in these emotions and understand that really that place they were coming from was a place of compassion and empathy. I had to forgive others and let go of those resentments of not being heard. While their actions were a part of anger or frusteration, I was able to come to peace with them. 

I’m still very much aware of what happened, but I feel different about it. I’m not holding onto it. I’m able to be at peace with it.
