All sides of the coin

I’m not about getting political or taking sides, and not going to go there now. What I am going to talk about is the idea of flexibility and how it applies to a lot more than just yoga or the physical body, it applies to our heartfelt desire.

Since we have had democracy in this country we have had people standing on different sides of the isle. People having varying opinions about things and these opinions are what put the politicians in the place that they are. These politicians and our government were elected because of the American  people voicing out, “this is what I stand for!” and they in turn represent our voice.

Even four years ago when I sat in disbelief in what had occurred, I still sat there with an open mind, I was ready to go along with the flow of things wherever and whatever that was. I was open to an experience, because who could really predict what might or might not happen. I have to admit, I might not have come to the idea of what my heartfelt desire was, but it was in there somewhere.

When I see what has transpired over the last several years, I see where some may have lost their way, maybe mis-aligned and really with no where to go, they close down and only see one way. This is really no way to heal or to find your way back to your heartfelt desire. We have to sit with the limiting beliefs that have brought us to this point, and look within, do the work. I know not everyone is ready for this, I can say up until recently, I didn’t even know this.

The events that occurred this week were truly heartbreaking and scarring. What once was a united front, is now falling apart at the seams. I ask that even if one person stumbles across this blog that maybe is unsure about their life path - just look within first before looking to see where the crowd is going. Look within and discover your heartfelt desire, and with the flexibility you have to see all fronts, all sides of the coin, listen, watch and learn.
