Yoga made an appearance in my life in 2014. Being an avid runner, I had heard yoga could play a huge part in a runners form, mental control, breathing, flexibility and balance. Over these last few years I discovered that it's all much more than that. While my practice has helped me grow stronger and more flexible, it has taught me a lesson of mindfulness and gratitude. Yoga inspires me to shine from the heart and open up my soul, to be my most authentic self.
I completed my 200 hour Vinyasa Flow training with Omnipresent Yoga and an additional 20 hours of Yin Yoga with Danielle Mercer International Yoga Trainer and RYT-500 hr. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving and passionate spirit my teachers have shared with me as well as the 20 new lifelong friends I have made while taking this yoga teacher training journey.
On my Yang side, I love to combine bold and powerful sequencing with a little bit of sassy and silliness. On my Yin side I love a gentle restorative practice with a little dose of yin energy and inspiration to help you deepen the practice and cleanse the soul. Being a Reiki Master as well, allows me to give an additional offering in holistic healing to bring balance to the body and mind.
When I told one of my favorite teachers I was going to enroll in teacher training she reflected on how life changing it was for her. After it was all said and done, I told her that "To call it life changing is an understatement, it's changed my entire universe".
